बोकारो इस्पात निगम की स्थापना 1965 ई० में हुई थी | बोकारो इस्पात निगम निर्माण के साथ- साथ एक गुणवता पूर्व शिक्षण संस्थानों के रूप में अपना महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखता है | इन महत्वपूर्ण शिक्षण संस्थानों में बोकारो महिला कॉलेज का भी महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है | बोकारो महिला कॉलेज की स्थापना 29 मार्च 1976 ई० को यहाँ के युवतियों को उच्च शिक्षा प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से की गई थी | तब से लेकर आज तक यह महिला कॉलेज शिक्षा के रूप में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाते आ रहा है |

 बोकारो महिला कॉलेज में IQAC आंतरिक गुणवता आश्वासन प्रकोष्ठ की स्थापना 07.01.2016 को की गई थी, जिसके मार्गदर्शन में NAAC Cycle -1 में सफल प्रदर्शन करते हुये ‘B’ ग्रेड प्राप्त हुआ | NAAC Cycle -2 के लिए IQAC टीम सतत प्रयत्नशील है तथा कॉलेज के विकास के लिए अपनी योजनाओं को प्रबंधन एवं विभिन्न समित्तियों के पास रख रहे हैं | मुझे उम्मीद है कि IQAC टीम एक टीम भावना के रूप में कार्य करते हुये कॉलेज  को चहुमुखी विकास में अपना योगदान देते रहेंगें |

Bokaro Ispat Nigam was established in 1965. Bokaro Ispat Nigam holds its important position as a quality pre-educational institutions along with manufacturing. Bokaro Women’s College also has an important place in these important educational institutions. Bokaro Women’s College was established on 29 March 1976 with the aim of providing higher education to the girls here. Since then till today, this women’s college has been playing a leading role in the form of education.

IQAC Internal Quality Assurance Cell in Bokaro Women’s College was established on 07.01.2016, under whose guidance ‘B’ grade was achieved by performing successfully in NAAC Cycle-1. For NAAC Cycle-2, the IQAC team is continuously working and keeping its plans for the development of the college with the management and various committees. I hope that the IQAC team will continue to contribute towards the all round development of the college by working as a team spirit.
