1976 में स्थापित बोकारो महिला कॉलेज ने सार्थक अस्तित्व के 45 वर्ष पुरे कर लिए है | 18 छात्राओं के साथ अपनी विनम्र शुरुआत से कॉलेज ने एक लम्बा सफ़र शुरू किया है | लगभग 3500 छात्राएँ हमारी वर्तमान ताकत है |

कॉलेज ने गुणवता शिक्षा के माध्यम से महिलाओं की स्थिति उत्थान की दृष्टि से अपनी यात्रा शुरू की और तब से कला, वाणिज्य, और विज्ञान संकाय में शामिल छात्राओं को विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रमों में सस्ती कीमत पर शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए खुद को प्रतिबद्द किया |

समान और समृद्ध समाज के निर्माण के लिए महिलाओं का सशक्तिकरण आवश्यक है और शिक्षा वास्तव में इस उद्देश्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए एक शक्तिशाली उपकरण है इसलिए कॉलेज का मिशन गुणवतापूर्ण शिक्षा के माध्यम से महिलाओं का सशक्तिकरण है | गुणवता के प्रति हमारी वचनबद्धता का श्रेय उच्च योग्य शिक्षक एवं शिक्षकाओं द्वारा किया जाता है जो जीवन को मार्गदर्शक प्रदान करते है | हम छात्राओं को ऐसे गुण विकसीत करने में मदद करते है जो उन्हें विकसित होने के साथ-साथ सुरक्षित एवं स्वतंत्र बनाएगी |

कॉलेज द्वारा किये गये विभिन्न प्रयासों के लिए शिक्षण और गैर –शिक्षण स्टाफ के सभी सदस्यों के योगदान को स्वीकार करने में मुझे गर्व होता है | हम साथ मिलकर भविष्य में सफल योजना बनाते है तथा कॉलेज के उत्तरोतर विकास के लिए कटिबद्ध है | कॉलेज प्रत्येक छात्राओं के व्यक्तिगत विकास की परवाह करता है | यहाँ प्रत्येक छात्राओं को वैश्विक शिक्षा प्राप्त होगी | विचारों की स्पष्टता के साथ आत्मनिर्भर मानव के रूप में विकसित करने के लिए तैयार रहते हैं |

Bokaro Women’s College established in 1976 has completed 45 years of meaningful existence. The college has started a long journey from its humble beginning with 18 girl students. Our present strength is about 3500 girl students.

The college started its journey with the vision of uplifting the status of women through quality education and since then has committed itself to provide education at affordable cost in various courses to the girl students involved in the arts, commerce, and science faculties.

Empowerment of women is essential for building an equal and prosperous society and education is indeed a powerful tool to achieve this objective so the mission of the college is empowerment of women through quality education. Our commitment to quality is credited by highly qualified teachers and teachers who guide life. We help the girl students to develop such qualities which will make them secure and independent as they grow.

I take pride in acknowledging the contribution of all the members of the teaching and non-teaching staff towards the various endeavors undertaken by the college.
